MyOutDesk Alternatives in 2026: 8 Options for Full-Time and Part-Time Help

The main MyOutDesk alternatives are other managed dedicated assistants (e.g., Wing Assistant, $999 a month for 160 hours; Wishup, from $1,299 a month for 4 hours a day; Prialto, $1,600 a month per 55-hour unit; Athena, $3,000 a month for a full-time executive assistant), US-based assistant services (e.g., Time etc, from $390 a month for 10 hours, or BELAY, quoted after a consultation from about 45 hours a month), marketplaces (e.g., Upwork, the freelancer's rate plus a fee of up to 7.99%) and remote staffing agencies that place Latin American assistants on US hours (e.g., Virtustant, starting at $7/hr all-in with $0 placement fees). Prices are as published on each provider's own pages, checked on October 28, 2026.
MyOutDesk places full-time assistants only, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week, from $1,988 a month on its Managed tier or $2,500 on its Specialized tier. It says recruiting, payroll, benefits and a dedicated account manager are in that one monthly rate, with talent in the Philippines, Latin America and Africa. This guide sorts eight alternatives by model, lists what each publishes, prices a full-time seat per hour across them, and gives you a test for whether you need a full-time seat at all. Virtustant is one of the options, so we use published facts only; sources are at the end. For the head-to-head, see Virtustant vs MyOutDesk.

Choose it if you want a full-time executive assistant and a partnership manager more than the lowest monthly price.
Time etc sells monthly blocks of hours from a dedicated U.S. assistant: $390 for 10 hours, $760 for 20, $1,480 for 40 and $2,160 for 60. Unused hours roll over and there is no setup fee (see Time etc pricing explained).
Choose it if you do not have a full-time workload and want a US-based assistant.
BELAY places U.S.-based assistants on a flat monthly fee quoted after a consultation. Its FAQ says support typically begins at 45 hours a month and runs month to month, and its cost guide puts US virtual assistants at $30 to $75 an hour.

A full-time seat is 40 hours a week, or 173.3 hours a month (40 × 52 ÷ 12). Where a provider publishes a monthly price for a full-time seat, we divided it by those hours; where it publishes the hours, we used them.
| Provider | Published monthly price, full time | Per hour |
|---|---|---|
| MyOutDesk Managed tier | $1,988 | $11.47 at 173.3 hours |
| MyOutDesk Specialized tier | $2,500 | $14.42 at 173.3 hours |
| Wing Assistant | $999 for 160 hours | $6.24 |
| Wishup Prime, 8 hours a day | $1,999 | $11.53 at 173.3 hours |
| Athena | $3,000 (hours not published) | $17.31 if full time is 40 hours a week |
| Prialto | From $3,600 for 165+ hours | $21.82 at 165 hours |
| Time etc | No full-time plan; largest plan 60 hours ($2,160) | $36 |
| BELAY | Not published | $30 to $75 US market range from its cost guide |
| Virtustant, starting rate | Virtustant: $1,213 ($7/hr × 173.3 hours) | Virtustant: $7.00 |
| Virtustant, median | Virtustant: $1,751 ($10.10/hr × 173.3 hours) | Virtustant: $10.10 (virtual assistant median, n=24) |
Two honest readings. First, Wing Assistant's $999 plan ($6.24 an hour) is the lowest published full-time price in this comparison, below Virtustant's $7/hr starting rate. Second, the monthly rate buys different things: MyOutDesk, Athena and Prialto put an account or partnership manager in the price, Prialto adds backup assistants, and Virtustant's rate covers the professional's pay plus contracts, payroll and the paperwork, with the person chosen by you from a shortlist. The $10.10/hr figure is the median client-side rate for a virtual assistant (n=24) in Virtustant's 2026 Nearshore Rate Report (441 placement starts, January to June 2026).
MyOutDesk does not sell part-time seats: its pricing FAQ says every placement is built as full-time and dedicated. If your work fills 10 to 30 hours a week, these alternatives publish smaller units. We priced about 80 hours a month, the median schedule of the 14 part-time seats among 25 virtual assistant positions Virtustant filled from August 24 to September 30, 2026.
| Provider | About 80 hours a month |
|---|---|
| MyOutDesk | No part-time plan; full time from $1,988 |
| Wing Assistant | $699 (80-hour plan) |
| Wishup | $1,299 (4 hours a day) |
| Prialto | $1,600 for one 55-hour unit; $3,200 for two |
| Time etc | $2,160 for 60 hours, its largest plan |
| BELAY | Not published; its $30 to $75 US market range gives $2,400 to $6,000 (illustration, not a quote) |
| Upwork | Freelancer's rate × 80, plus up to 7.99% |
| Virtustant | Virtustant: $560 at the $7/hr starting rate; $808 at the $10.10/hr median |
A part-time seat can be a starting point rather than a compromise: with Virtustant, the same professional can move from part-time to full-time as the workload grows, without a new search.

Provider pages read October 28, 2026; the Upwork fee article and the BELAY cost guide were read October 27, 2026. Per-hour figures divide the published monthly price by 173.3 hours (40 hours a week) unless the provider publishes its own hours. The BELAY 80-hour range is $30 to $75 × 80, not a BELAY quote. Promotional discounts are excluded. Virtustant figures come from its pricing page and Virtustant's 2026 Nearshore Rate Report (441 placement starts, January to June 2026). Use the Full-Time Fit Test: track your delegable hours for two weeks, compare full-time seats per hour if you have 35 hours or more, and decide what the monthly rate must include. Under 35 hours a week, a part-time seat or an hour package matches the workload more closely than any full-time plan.
MyOutDesk lists multi-candidate shortlists on its custom Enterprise plan, and Athena matches you with an executive assistant. Upwork leaves the choice entirely to you, and Virtustant gives you 3 to 5 vetted candidates to interview and choose from.
