Wishup vs Wing Assistant in 2026: Prices, Terms and Which Fits

Wishup and Wing Assistant both sell a dedicated virtual assistant on a monthly subscription, and both publish prices. Wing's full-time plan is $999 a month for 160 hours, about $6.24 an hour, with a Philippines-based assistant; Wishup's Prime VA is $1,999 a month for 8 hours a day, about $11.49 per scheduled hour, with assistants in India working a night shift to cover US hours (wishup.co and wingassistant.com, October 29, 2026). Wishup's terms add a 10% increase on each anniversary. If you want the assistant's workday to match yours, a remote staffing agency that places Latin American assistants on US hours (e.g., Virtustant) starts at $7/hr all-in with $0 placement fees.
This page compares the two services on what each publishes, works out what each costs over two years, and says when each fits. Virtustant is one of the options mentioned, so we use published facts only and show every calculation; sources are at the end. For each service in depth, see Wishup pricing and Wing Assistant pricing.

On published prices, Wing. For a full-time general assistant, Wing's $999 for 160 hours is $6.24 an hour; Wishup's $1,999 for 8 hours a day covers about 174 weekday hours a month in 2026, or $11.49 per scheduled hour. Two adjustments narrow the per-hour gap a little but not the monthly one: Wing's FAQ said paying by card adds $35 a month from the second month, which makes $1,034 or $6.46 an hour, and Wishup's fee covers holidays and leave, so the hours actually worked can be lower than the hours scheduled.
Part time is closer: Wing's 80 hours cost $699, and Wishup's 4-hour Prime plan read $1,299 on October 23, 2026, for about 87 scheduled hours.
The Year-Two Test asks: what will the same seat cost in its second year, and over two years in total? A first-month price hides any increase written into the terms, and an assistant who works out tends to stay longer than a year.
| Full-time general assistant | Year 1 a month | Year 2 a month | 24-month total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wishup Prime VA (8 hours a day) | $1,999 | $2,198.90 (+10% at the anniversary) | $50,374.80 |
| Wing Assistant full time (160 hours) | $999 | $999 if the list price holds | $23,976 |
| Virtustant virtual assistant, 160 hours at the $7/hr starting rate | $1,120 | Rate agreed on your quote | $26,880 at the starting rate |
The Wing and Virtustant rows assume the price you start with does not change, because neither pricing page states an annual increase; ask for that in writing. The Wishup row follows its terms: a 10% increase from the anniversary date. Run the test with the plan you would actually buy, and add the cost of leaving: Wishup asks for a month's notice after the first month, and its two-year bar on hiring the assistant directly matters if you ever want to bring the person in-house.
Wing fits when the lowest published monthly price is the priority and the work suits an assistant in the Philippines, for example inbox, scheduling, data entry and research that you can hand over in writing. Check the card fee, the notice period and the refund terms before you sign.
Wishup fits when you want the extra layers in its higher plans, such as a dedicated VA manager on Prime or a backup assistant on Elite, or a bookkeeper on the same subscription. Price in the 10% yearly increase and the non-solicitation clause from day one.
All the options are in Wishup alternatives and Wing Assistant alternatives.
Both services cover US hours from far away: Wishup's standard assistants work a night shift in India, and Wing's are in the Philippines. If you would rather the assistant's normal daytime be your business day, Latin America is the alternative. At 160 hours a month, Virtustant's starting rate gives $1,120 for a virtual assistant at $7/hr; at the $10.10/hr median, it is $1,616. That sits between Wing and Wishup on price, so the choice is about time zone first, price second.
Virtustant is a remote staffing agency. We recruit a dedicated, bilingual professional from Latin America who works your US hours and is directed by you, at one all-in hourly rate. Starting rates: virtual assistants from $7/hr; executive assistants and bookkeepers from $8.50/hr (Virtustant pricing). The median client-side rate for a virtual assistant was $10.10/hr (n=24) in the 2026 Nearshore Rate Report (441 placement starts, January to June 2026).
