Wing Assistant Pricing in 2026: Every Plan and Fee, the Real Hourly Cost, and What Each Price Buys Against an Agency

Wing Assistant publishes two plans for a dedicated general virtual assistant, $699 a month for 80 hours (part-time) and $999 a month for 160 hours (full-time), as listed on its pricing page on October 23, 2026. That is $8.74 and $6.24 an hour. Paying by card adds $35 per client per month from the second month, a 3-month agreement takes 3% off the subscription, and US-based assistants are priced separately at $2,499 and $4,999 a month.
This guide lists every fee on Wing's own pages, turns the plans into monthly, hourly and yearly figures, and adds a test for whether a higher-priced route is worth the difference. Virtustant is a remote staffing agency and one of the routes compared, so we stick to published facts and show every calculation. Up front: Wing's full-time plan costs less per hour than Virtustant's starting rate and our virtual assistant median, and we explain what each price buys. For the model-by-model comparison, see Virtustant vs Wing Assistant.
Here is everything Wing's own pages say about cost, quoted as of October 23, 2026:
| Item | What Wing says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| GVA Full-Time | "$999/Month", "160 Hours per month", "Dedicated Virtual Assistant", "Free replacement", "Customer Success Manager", "Your timezone - Any hours you want". A "16% Savings" label is not explained. | Pricing page |
| GVA Part-Time | "$699/Month", "80 Hours per month", same features, "10 GB file sharing/storage limit". | Pricing page |
| Contract | "No long-term contract". The subscription "will automatically renew every month until your Cancellation Notice." | Pricing page, Terms 5.2 |
| Cancellation | Tell your Customer Success Manager "10 calendar days or more prior to your Subscription Renewal Date." Without that notice, "you will be charged for your next month of service." | Terms 5.3 |
| Hourly fees | "Are there additional hourly fees?" "No. Wing charges one flat fee per month." | FAQ |
| Card fee | "$35 USD per client per month" for credit and debit cards; Wing "will typically waive the first month's" fee. The FAQ says ACH and similar bank transfers are exempt. | FAQ, Terms 5.2a |
| Longer agreement | "if you sign up for a 3-month agreement, we offer a 3% discount on your subscription." | FAQ |
| Deposit | Deposits are non-refundable and "count towards your plan price." The terms give an example of a $200 deposit on a $1,299 plan; the pricing page states no deposit amount. | Terms 5.1 |
| Refunds | "All charges are non-refundable." A deposit refund may be considered if Wing "has failed to provide you with a talent after 31 calendar days." | Terms 5.1, 5.5 |
| Hours | "Wing, by default, is available 8 hours a day, 5 days a week"; 16- and 24-hour coverage through sales. | FAQ |
| Replacement | "24-Hour Replacement Guarantee — if an assistant isn't a fit, clients can request a replacement in under 24 hours." | Wing AI info page |
Not published: a setup fee (none is listed), an overtime rate, whether unused hours roll over, and the deposit amount per plan. Two terms deserve a read. Section 5.2: if you are unavailable after the start date, "you will still be charged for their time." Section 22: for the relationship and "up to three (3) calendar years after," you may not approach Wing's assistants outside the normal course of business, so hiring the person directly later is off the table.
Hourly figures are the plan price divided by the plan hours. The card fee is per client, not per assistant.
| Plan | Per month by bank transfer (ACH) | Per month by card, from month 2 | Per month on a 3-month agreement (3% off) | First 12 months by ACH | First 12 months by card (first-month fee typically waived) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GVA Part-Time | $699 ($8.74/hr) | $734 ($9.18/hr) | $678.03 ($8.48/hr) | $8,388 | $8,773 |
| GVA Full-Time | $999 ($6.24/hr) | $1,034 ($6.46/hr) | $969.03 ($6.06/hr) | $11,988 | $12,373 |
For example, 12 months by card = $999 × 12 + $35 × 11 = $12,373. Three things follow:
The pricing page says "Additional roles are available across operations, sales, marketing, and support." Wing's signup page prices them, each at "8 Hours/Day, Mon-Fri". Where a role shows two figures, we use the lower. Hourly figures assume 160 hours.
| Wing plan | Monthly price | Per hour at 160 hours |
|---|---|---|
| LT America-based Virtual Assistant (Full Time) | $1,399/mo | $8.74 |
| Customer Service Representative (Full Time) | $1,299/mo | $8.12 |
| Bookkeeping Assistant (Full Time) | $1,499/mo | $9.37 |
| LT America-based Executive Assistant (Full Time) | $2,199/mo | $13.74 |
| Executive Assistant (Mid) (Full Time) | $2,499/mo | $15.62 |
| Executive Assistant (Expert) (Full Time) | $2,999/mo | $18.74 |
| US-based general VA, part-time (80 hours) | $2,499/mo | $31.24 |
| US-based general VA, full-time (160 hours) | $4,999/mo | $31.24 |
US-based prices are from Wing's US-based virtual assistant page. The signup page does not define "LT America", and checkout prices can change with promotions, so confirm the role price on your order.
Any route that costs more than Wing's $999 plan has to justify the difference. The Gap Hours Test turns that difference into your time:
Gap Hours = (monthly price of the higher-cost route − monthly price of the lower-cost route) ÷ what one hour of your time is worth. If the higher-cost route saves you more hours than that each month, it pays for itself. If you cannot name where those hours come from, buy the cheaper plan.
The value of your hour is your own input. The table uses $50, $100 and $150 as example inputs, not published figures.
| Comparison | Monthly gap | Gap hours at $50/hr | At $100/hr | At $150/hr |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Virtustant VA starting rate ($1,120) vs Wing full-time by ACH ($999) | $121 | 2.4 hrs | 1.2 hrs | 0.8 hrs |
| Virtustant VA median ($1,616) vs Wing full-time by ACH ($999) | $617 | 12.3 hrs | 6.2 hrs | 4.1 hrs |
| US in-house admin assistant, loaded ($5,751.19) vs Wing full-time by ACH ($999) | $4,752.19 | 95.0 hrs | 47.5 hrs | 31.7 hrs |
Read the second row: at $100 an hour, a Virtustant virtual assistant at the H1 2026 median must save you about 6.2 hours a month, roughly 1.4 a week, to cost the same as Wing's full-time plan. Test where those hours would come from:
The test cuts both ways. Against Wing, a loaded US administrative assistant would need to save a $100-an-hour owner about 48 hours a month to come out ahead. And if none of the reasons above applies, even Virtustant's $7 starting rate costs $121 a month more than Wing.
The two prices buy different things:
| Wing GVA Full-Time ($999) | Virtustant virtual assistant (median $1,616) | |
|---|---|---|
| Price for 160 hours | $999 flat, plus $35 by card from month 2 | $10.10/hr all-in at the H1 2026 median; from $7/hr ($1,120) |
| Who chooses the person | Wing: "We find great candidates", "We interview and assess them for you" | You, from a shortlist of 3 to 5 vetted candidates |
| Where the person is | Wing's general plan does not name a country; its own job listing for a General Virtual Assistant is in New Delhi, India, for "US work hours (20-40 hours per week)" | Latin America, working US hours |
| Replacement | "Free replacement"; request in under 24 hours | Lifetime replacement guarantee |
| Terms | Month to month, auto-renews, 10 days' notice, non-refundable charges | Month-to-month, zero placement fees, one weekly invoice per placement |
Time zone is not the dividing line: both routes work US hours. Who is in the seat is. Of 25 virtual assistant positions Virtustant filled between August 24 and September 30, 2026, 14 were part-time (median 20 hours a week), 14 worked Eastern time and 7 Pacific, and 7 of 12 job posts put the assistant on calls or messages with clients (full dataset). A client-facing assistant is the seat where choosing the person matters most.
A full-time general assistant, 160 hours a month:
| Route | Per month | Per hour | Who vets | If the hire does not work |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wing GVA Full-Time | $999 ($1,034 by card) | $6.24 ($6.46) | Wing | Free replacement, under 24 hours |
| Wing US-based, full-time | $4,999 | $31.24 | Wing | Free replacement |
| Upwork freelancer at an example $10/hr | $1,727.84 with the 7.99% fee ($1,648.00 at 3%) | $10.80 ($10.30) | You | You search again |
| US in-house administrative assistant | $5,751.19 loaded | $35.94 | You | You search again |
| Virtustant virtual assistant | From $1,120; H1 2026 median $1,616 | $7.00 to $10.10 | Virtustant, then you choose | Lifetime replacement guarantee |
Upwork fee from its client marketplace fee article (up to 7.99% on Basic, 3% for qualifying US bank accounts); $10 an hour is an example rate. US figure: BLS median pay for secretaries and administrative assistants, $48,310 (May 2025), ÷ 0.70 ÷ 12. If you already found the person, see Deel pricing. On price alone, Wing's general plan is the lowest full-time option in this table.
Wing is the right call when:
Wing is a weaker fit when you want to choose the person yourself, when a role plan passes an agency rate (executive assistant plans at $2,199 to $2,999 against Virtustant's executive assistant median of $12.00/hr, or $1,920, n=24), or when you may hire the person directly later, which Wing's terms restrict for up to three years. Wing's role plans cost less than our medians for bookkeeping ($1,499 vs $12.85/hr, or $2,056, n=7) and customer service ($1,299 vs $10.83/hr, about $1,733, n=12). Virtustant is a remote staffing agency. We recruit a dedicated, bilingual professional from Latin America who works your hours and is directed by you, at one all-in hourly rate. Starting rates: virtual assistants and customer service from $7/hr; SDRs, appointment setters, social media managers and designers from $8/hr; executive assistants and bookkeepers from $8.50/hr. See pricing for every role, the virtual assistant and executive assistant role pages, and the rate report for the H1 2026 medians. In Virtustant's H1 2026 placement data (441 starts, January to June 2026), the median client-side rate for a virtual assistant was $10.10/hr (n=24).
Shortlist in 48 hours. Start in 72 hours. You get a shortlist of 3 to 5 vetted candidates within 48 hours of your first call, and your hire can start in 72 hours. The vetting funnel: 100% apply, 22% clear the recruiter screen, 9% pass cognitive (IQ), skills and English testing, 3% reach a live interview, 1% are hired, which is what we mean by the top 1%.
After the hire, your account manager is the main point of contact and coordinates onboarding, the start date, tools access and a first-week plan, then follows up during the first weeks. You direct the day-to-day work. Virtustant handles payroll, paperwork and everything administrative on the professional's side. Terms are month-to-month with zero placement fees, a lifetime replacement guarantee and one weekly invoice per placement. How Virtustant makes money: if you pay your agent $10/hr, we give them $9 and keep the dollar in the middle. Virtustant is rated 4.9/5 on G2 and 4.5/5 on Trustpilot.
On cost against a US hire: BLS median pay for executive secretaries and executive administrative assistants is $76,590 a year (May 2025), or $36.82 an hour at 2,080 hours. Thirty percent of that is $11.05, and the $8.50 executive assistant starting rate sits below it, which is why you can save up to 70% at the starting rate. Senior roles are quoted above the floor.

Wing Assistant's pricing page lists two plans for a dedicated general virtual assistant: $699 a month for 80 hours and $999 a month for 160 hours, as of October 23, 2026. Card payments add $35 per client per month from the second month, and a 3-month agreement takes 3% off. US-based plans cost $2,499 and $4,999.
Dividing the plan price by the plan hours, Wing's full-time general plan is $6.24 an hour ($999 for 160 hours) and its part-time plan is $8.74 an hour ($699 for 80 hours). Paying by card raises those to $6.46 and $9.18 from the second month.
Wing's FAQ says there are no additional hourly fees. Card payments carry a $35 per client monthly fee, usually waived in the first month; ACH is exempt. The terms describe a non-refundable deposit that counts toward your plan price, but the pricing page does not state the amount.
Wing advertises no long-term contract, and plans renew automatically every month. Its terms require you to tell your Customer Success Manager at least 10 calendar days before the renewal date; otherwise you are charged for the next month. Charges are non-refundable under the terms, so a late cancellation on the full-time plan costs one more $999 month.
Wing's signup page lists full-time role plans, each at 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Examples as of October 23, 2026: customer service representative $1,299 a month, "LT America-based" virtual assistant $1,399, bookkeeping assistant $1,499, "LT America-based" executive assistant $2,199 and executive assistant (Expert) $2,999.
For a full-time general assistant, yes. Wing charges $999 for 160 hours, or $6.24 an hour. In Virtustant's H1 2026 placement data, the median client-side rate for a virtual assistant was $10.10/hr (n=24), about $1,616 a month, and rates start at $7. With Virtustant you choose from 3 to 5 vetted candidates in Latin America; Wing interviews and assigns the assistant.
It is a way to decide whether a higher-priced route is worth it. Divide the monthly price gap by what one hour of your time is worth. Between Wing's $999 plan and a Virtustant assistant at the $1,616 median, the gap is $617; at $100 an hour, the pricier route must save you about 6.2 hours a month to break even.
Wing's terms say that during the relationship and for up to three calendar years after, clients may not approach Wing's assistants outside the normal course of business or enter a contractual relationship with them. Weigh that before you sign if you may want to hire the person later.
